New Installation of Mechanical Recycling Facility at Spotmix
Spotmix are commissioning there newly installed MRF (Mechanical Recycling Facility) the plant was installed by family owned business MK Recycling from Northern Ireland at a cost of £800,000.00. The plant can handle up to 150,000 tons of waste per annum with waste recycling capacity of 98%.
After a recent site inspection of our new MRF (Mechanical Recycling Facility) HMS/ LMH have chosen Spotmix to deal with all their waste. Liverpool Mutual Homes is a tenant led organisation with a housing stock of 15,000 homes. LMH invest £1.5 Million a week improving homes and Spotmix are delighted to be part of improving their waste management to minimise landfill and give proper value to there waste management.

How are we achieving 95% recycling targets?
All cardboard and plastic is 'baled' in our 'on site' balers and sent on to be recycled.
All reclaimed timber is recycled for chipboard and fuels.
All scrap metals are seperated and sent to be processed.
Bricks and concrete are crushed and resold as primary aggregate.
All soils are taken to Hightown Composting to be reprocessed, graded and resold.
